Question for Dr. Al Ross

Hello Dr. Ross, I hope you’re well in this strange time, sir. Dr. Ross, I’m having a 1:72 scale ARB built by Kyle Lord. It’s of this ARB (ARB-22),

Is that in a Blue? John Snyder said that it was. Tracy White says it might be Ocean Gray. What do you think?

Here are some progress shots:

Thank you, Dr. Ross.

Hi Tim,

We haven’t heard from Al in quite a while here. I’m sure he’s fine, but you might try emailing Blue Jacket Shipcrafters directly as well.

This project looks really nice. Do keep us posted.

Stay well,

Bill

OK, thank you.

These were special operations boats and were most likely painted in schemes suited for a specific mission. Without a dated color photograph or written documenation (memos, deck logs, etc.), it’s all pure conjecture.

So, I should have it painted Ocean Gray? In which case, sir - would she have deck blue decks? Well, thank you anyway, Dr. Ross.
