Got a chance to pick up one of the 1/24th spits for around 60.00$ USD. Yes? No? Maybe??? How much am I gonna have to throw at it in the way of aftermarket parts and such? Gotta go find the review of this kit.

lots of reviews can be found for this model…FSM ran one late last year- Bob Swaddling did the kit review. He posts here frequently when questions about Spitfires arise.
I have an aftermarket seat and prop for mine. The pilot “door” on the side of the fuselage is incorrect, as is the lower horizontal stabilizer. (Both fixable.)
There’s a couple of other things- but after many email conversations with Bob, this still sounds like a good kit. I have the Mk1 from Airfix in 1/24 and it beats this model with its detail…
If you pick up this kit for approx $60, you will have gotten a bargain.
