I cannot find anything on the net about this has anyone else heard this rumor? Where? When are they expected to hit shelves?
I sure hope this news is true because I have been dying to do an F4E. Did it say if they are (I hope) 1/48s?
Eduard announced an all new tooled family of 1/48 F-4’s as future releases at the Nats. Supposedly a 2009 release date, so you’ll have to be patient.

I think I read that Eduard was going to finish up their Bf-110 series, go through the Hellcat series, and maybe even the Mig-21 family before they get to the F-4. Regardless, I’d be willing to bet Eduard’s Phantoms will push Hasegawa’s off the shelf.
It sure would be nice to see them do something different altogther. How about an Su-25 family. I only see one company do Su- 25s (maybe theres more). With Eduard, it would be a nice welcome.
…yeah, when they finally get to it in 2027…I am so tired of model companies announcing what they are going to do and then not follow through…they only do it to discourage their competitors not to…don’t hold your breath on this one, guys…we’ll be carving birds outta bar soap w/ butter knives in a nursing home when this hits the shelves…
Actually, Eduard has been pretty good about getting their new releases out close to the announced released date. Certainly some Manufacturers put out long lists of “Future” releases that never seem to see reality, but I give Eduard at least a B+. The new Phantoms have not been officially announced to my knowledge, but Eduard let it slip out in an interview given at the Nats. If the unofficial date is sometime in 2009, I’d guess that’s about when they will show up at the LHS.
