Okay, you’re probably going to roll your eyes and shake your head at my question, but the only way to learn is to ask, so what exactly is a group build and how does it work?
lots of peaple have the same kit, they say lets build it together
then they post pictures of how there getting on with the kit on the group build pages
then at the end of the build they post the finnished project
along the way they help each other out on parts and references
Be careful. Group Builds are evil creations [}:)] They are worse than Lays potatoe chips. You have been forewarned. You can still turn back, it’s not too late. [:0]
Just kidding. Find one (or many) that you like and join it. I think I’ve joined 5 for 2005 and have yet to start one yet. LOL!!!
You can also have “theme” builds such as the Battle of the Bulge Build or Russian build or the Tank Destroyer build, where you are not limited to just one kit. They are evil and function much like a black hole, pulling you in and squeezing the life (and money) out of you. That said they are loads of fun!!
The group build was started by the bean counters responsible for keeping up sales for all various hobby businesses.
