Question about Do-217K pilot seat.

In fact the question is about the seat used by the Do-217K, Ju-88G-1 and Ju-188. I think other late Luftwaffe aircraft used the seat as well… I’m talking about this seat:

Was it the same seat for all this aircraft? Another question: Where the seatbelts were attached? Any kind of info regarding this kind of seat will be really appreciated. Best regards.

José.

The center seat in the pic is from a Ju 88… You can see the attachment point for the lap harness down towards the bottom of the seatback.

I’m pretty sure that the seats would have armor plate attached to it as well. Your seat pic looks like it’s seat up for a backpack-type parachute rather than a seat-pack like the one above…

I used this alternative seat in my Do-217E (Mono 1/48) as supplied in a Verlinden aftermarket set. It came with the harnesses molded in.

So there are two cushions for this seat. I’ll make them and will make the seatbelts, and then I’ll get a resin copy. I have a Ju-188 and a Do-217K, so I’ll need two seats. Thank you for your input.
