Hello! I have an Aires resin wheel bay for the Tamiya 1/48 scale Fw190A. I would like the corresponding part for the Tamiya Fw 190D-9, but it doesn’t seem that Aires makes such a component…does anyone know if the Fw190A resin wheel bay can accurately be used for the Fw 190D-9? Were there significant differences? Thank you!
The wheel wells on the Jumo-engined Fw 190s were different. The outer sections were the same, but the inner portion was open to the engine compartment.
I modified this 1/48 Trimaster 190D-9 by cutting away the center portion, and adding a Jumo engine.
