Would 1/48 infantry and armor go good with 1/35 armor and infantry.
Whats the difference in the infantry size and armor.
Could you add a 1/48 soldier/ tanker to a 1/35 tank or halftrack.

In short, No. The scale dirfference is far too large to mix the two.
1/35 scale vehicles and figures will be about 50% larger than the same vehicle in 1.48.
For example, a 20 foot long vehicle would be a little over 7.5 inches long in 1/35 scale, but only 5 inches long in 1.48 scale.

Cant help on the british half track question, but I dont think they make a set of US hafltrack crew. Your best choices would be: Converting a german halftrack crew which they do sell, The US m20 hlaftrack by tamiya comes with a driver, radio operator, crouched guy covering his ears, and a guy loading a mortar, or last you could get the Tamiya combat group, and play around with some arms to make one look like he is driving, although his set doesnt have the greatest detail, being an older kit. You could also use the other 7 guys sitting in the back of the halftrack or something like thery are meant to be. Heres a picture of that set.

I would assume any modelling website would have it, and obviously, the Tamiya USA website. Its an older kit so you could pick it up for cheap, but as I said, the quality isnt the highest level. Hope this helps.
TL, the UK got M5 and M9 half-tracks in the lend lease program from the USA. No kits exist at this point for these in 1/35 – they were similar to the M2 and M3 but had differences.
The US Combat group set is pretty old – maybe troll around eBay or post a request on some of the AFV website classifieds. Contact me offline if you need assistance.
BTW, if you’ve ever compared a 1/48 figure to a 1/35 figure, you’ll see how impossible your first question really is – unless you’re going to do Dorothy in Oz with the Munchkins! LOL

Can you post the picture? I don’t recall any US halftracks with a turret on them.

Sounds like you came across an Israeli 20mm armed conversion based on the M14 GMC, normally found with the twin .50 cal Maxon turret. Its the only item that comes close to your discription in my refs. The M14 was in turn based on the M5. There was a turreted h/track that appeared in the film “The Eagle has Landed” with what looked like an M3 medium turret, but I think that was simply a film mock-up.
