Hows my effort…??? dont go counting rivets though…I’ll just ignore you. Something constructive i’ll take on board…cheers to all.http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v281/goffnutz/ …[X-)][X-)][X-)]
Great job!
Goffnutz, super job and welcome to the forums. Really nice builds with some excellent weathering. Is that Tamiya’s M-60? I got one for my son for his B-day. How’s the build on it?
Great job… I don’t have any criticizm…
really nice.
beautiful builds !!
Nice weathering !!
Thank you for sharing.
Hey Tiger man…it’s an Academy kit, AFV after market m60/48 Tracklinks(plastic[Modelkasten hard to track down in Aus])Build is good fitment of Active Armour a bit of a dodge…lots of fun but. Tamiya crew the ones supplied a bit “animated”…I’ll post my Tiger pics soon. Cheers for the critique all.[8D]
Goff, really nice builds. like them all. just one comment! as a former m48 tank commander I would suggest you tighten up the track on your m60. it is just a bit on the loose side. otherwise, primo build. semper fi, mike
Funny you should say that ym18mc i just finnished a Plant op course (dozers etc) and the track seemed ‘predominately’ slack (now) whist taking the photos…I’ll fix em before the Dio comes together…“Attention to detail” I’m sure you"ve heard before .
…Cheers Mike
Looks really good.
Is that the DML BMP-2?
BMP is a Russian kit BMP-2D modified to BMP-2 (best i could with the little reference i had) Manufacturer “ZVEDA” i bought the kit in Sydney {At the risk of being patronising-Australia} (no corner store for you !)Nice material . The pour of the kit i bought was a bit dodgy, hence the ‘Canvas’ hanging over the rear doors. Distributed by ITALERI apparently. You probably have a bigger selection in the U.S…Cheers
Hey Tigerman…
One for you -more on the previous link…All the Best
Looks good, Goffnutz [tup]
Great job on all of them !
Goffnutz,
looking very good!
my only tweak is the track on the left side of the Tiger
seems to go ‘up’ between the first two outside roadwheels.
and it may be that the inner roadwheel is going up over a brick,
i can’t tell for sure.
very minor.
great work & thanks for posting the pics.
Panther 18…Had a look at your pics on the link.If you check out the prev link of mine I’ve added some for the Tiger critics ,you’ll have laugh ,…can aTiger stike the same place twice ?.I was somewhat a begininer (more so than now anyhow) Backthen…cheap airbrush,to much wash and so on…Love the detail man!!![8D]
Thanks Wild Willy…I originally had a King Tiger on the Dio (Kids thought it would be fun to play with the little tank ) [B)][:(!]The Tiger pictured was a pedastal peice…Tried to get hold of some Modelkasten(?)for Flexibility, Had to make do with some aftermarket indv plastics(non-hinged) Metal tracks are a $100 + in Aus (Around $200 + U.S)[:O]…Good Modelling!!!
The only indy links i have tried so far are Tamiya’s set for the Panther (G).
pretty economical and not too bad for this rookie to work w/.
i would love to try a set of the MK’s or Fruill some day, but i balk
at paying more for accessories than i paid for the kit.
keep building & posting!
It all looks great. I like the S33 dio a lot. The rubble looks awsome.
Your have some beautiful work there, Goffnutz. Thanks for posting the pics.
Welcome by the way.
Very nice builds. The Tiger dio is awesome. Only comment I have to make is in agreement with yw18mc, those m-60 tracks do look a little too lose.
