Hi i’m new to the forum but anyways i need help finding referance pictures for a British 25PDR.Field Gun & Quad Gun Tractor. I’ve had this model for 3 years now and i finally think i will finish it if i can find some good color pictures. I’ve found several black & white pictures but sadly no color ones [:(]. Well thanks for reading this and hopefully someone can help me

what kit are you building? I have the Tamiya one

Yea its the Tamiya one. I have some pictures of the model painted nicely but i’m still looking for actually pictures of the gun tractor. But if u have some pictures of your model i would love to see them.

Well actually I haven’t even built mine yet. But I can give you some tips on where to find some pics. First try Squadron/Signal Publications ( http://www.squadron.com/Index.htm ) they might have a book out on it. Next try google. You might try the images search, but I’ve found it doesn’t tend to find things under specific titles, you’re better off with the text search. just look for sites that seem to be good sources for pics, like museums. finally…ask someone around here. Actually that’s probably gonna be your best bet. and the quickest. which is what you’re doing now any…ways[D)][banghead]…sorry i couldn’t help more.[sigh]

Biohazard: I have some from Shermanfreak and will gladly pass them on if you want. I am currently working on the same kit and these are of the correct variant of the Ford FGT.

Hey Biohazard, I posted this http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21563 a while ago. My progress pictures are gone now (I’m building the Tamiya kit with Eduard PE) but if you read through it I posted some links to my ref pictures. I belive most of them are of the Chevy version. I also notice that www.armorama.com just posted some ref pictures of the Ford version.

I haven’t finished it yet. I’ll try and post some more pictures soon. Looking forward to seeing some progress pictures. Are you building one with the African theater paint scheme or the European paint scheme? All the color ref pictures I’ve seen are of the OD type.
