there don’t seem to be many MB’s for this specific kit on the market. could I take one from the popular Jagdpanzer IV L/70, would it fit?

To clarify, can a MB designed for a Jagdpanzer IV L/70 fit on dragon’s Pz.Kpfw.IV L/70(A) Final Prod (6784)?

It’s the same gun and barrel. It should work for you

Yes it should work. The differences between the A and V are in the hull and not the armament.
