Pz 1b - Befehlswagen - finished pics

This is Italeri’s Kommando - Panzer1b (as they call it) It’s a Pz 1b Befehlswagen. It’s a command tank variation on a Pz 1b

It’s a rebox of a Zvezda kit. The kit went together pretty easily - no PE. The molding was good - no blobs and good detail.
It’s a small little thing - I put a figure in one picture to give some scale. It was kind of like doing a 1/72 only with bigger tools.

I pre-shaded in flat black, painted it like aircraft panels - (dark color outside with lighter colors moving toward the center. Started w/ Tamiya’s German gray, lightened it as I went.

I did do a wash w/ flat black and some artist oils to finish
Drybrush as usual

Was a nice little tank to do.

Very nice Jim … you’ve done a great job on this little fella !!!

You’re finish is great, nice drybrushing, really picked the details out.

Just have one question … you state this is a rebox of a Zvezda kit. IIRC, Italeri is the original manufacturer of this kit and Zvezda sells reboxed kits of it.

Thanks for sharing.

Really nice job Jim, thanks for sharing.

Well done job on the little guy!

Tis a cutie! Great job with it too!

Jim, nice work. I especially like the frozen German soldier next to the vehicle![:D][:D][;)]

Outstanding work, truly a beautiful model! Rather an odd looking duck in real life though! Excellent job on the shading. Looks great!

HOLY COW
I think that is the coolest little thing ever!

Looks really good, Jim…!

Look at that little thing, I thought it was 1/35 til’ that frozen soldier came up, a very good job on this one[tup]

very nice, to small for my poor eye’s but you did it right:-)

That is one A1 paint job [bow]

Nice job …very well done ![8D]

Excellent work Build22! Very impressive for a brail scale especially!

Eric

Jim,
i just want to be clear on this, because either i am confused, or some of the other folks are.
the tank is in 1/35 scale, and so is the soldier.
it’s just that the early German armor was not much bigger than an armored car or tankette, right?

i think when you said it was like 1/72, some of the gang thought it was 1/72.

in any case, outstanding work!

Very nice weathering…excellent subject too…

Regards, Dan

Yes it is 1/35,

Sorry for the confusion - I just said it was like building a 1/72

Sherm - thanks and thanks for clearing that up who’ s kit is made by who

Tigerman, Latch and 53Ryder - thanks it’ appreciated

Keyworth - yeah, he’s looking a little white - he’s also an acrobat - see how he balances that machine gun on his back without any means of support

Leopold - it does look odd - kinda looks like the pope-mobile when there is somebody sticking out of the hatch

Excellent job, Jim. Very impressive weathering too. Looks like that infantryman figure is going along well, too. Thanks for sharing.
