Putty for simulating weld seams?

What is the best putty for simulating weld seams on German armour? I’ve seen a red putty used in several references, but I can’t find it. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don’t know the name of the red putty, but I use Milliput for my weld seams. I get it at my LHS. I would also like to know the name of the red putty.

Squadron makes both a white and a green putty, they also work well as they can be scored/carved after drying. The white dries faster than the green.

I’ve researched a bit, and sound a red putty by a company called “Dr. MicroTools” that reviews consistently rave about–it seems to be putty ambrosia. Alas, like most really good things, the stuff no longer seems to be available (wouldn’tcha know it). I cannot find it anywhere, not even eBay. Does anyone know where to buy anything from “Dr. MicroTools”?

Meanwhile, I think I’ll go with Squadron Green Putty.

I use a two part putty called Apoxie Sculpt. It works well, and you get a lot of working time.
