Well, the reason I have asked this is simple. I have some Mikro-Mark Punches, Slick little guys with a Lexan alignment plate and eight different sizes. Of course What I needed a punch for had out side diameters bigger than those. Soo___, I dug out a set of Rusty ,yeah H.F. tools will do that lot’s of times, even if you ain’t using the heck out of them.

These were a simplified set of Metal Punches that didn’t use set screws to lock the punch heads in. they used threads instead. The second largest was perfect! Just for funnies. Go through your Bench and garages storage cabinets,Wanna bet you’ll find duplicates of some things? Like Punches?

I made my own version of the commercial one you mentioned. But I used drill rod for the punches, so I didn’t make very many sizes.

I plan to do another after buying a cheap drill set. I will make the steel base and the plexiglas portion, then use the drillls to make the holes.

Then I will grind the shank off each drill, grind the shank off with dremel, and sharpen that area for the punches.
