Well the hose is on back order [:I], but re arrive the same time my air regulator does [:D], then I’ll be a painting fool. Got 3 builds going right now. 2 are in final stages and one is starting over (cat and bookcase probs). all 3 are group builds. When I am done with those I have a stang and a t-bolt lined up for myself.
Can’t…seem…to…be…able…to…put…it…down
Jeff,
I know how you feel. Sometimes I get all of my airbrushes out just to look at them and feel the action of them. I know, I know, I’m weird. [:D] [;)]
Mike
Congrats Jeff, Post some pics of the result of that airbrush.
As soon as I get it all hooked up and spraying I’ll get some posted pics.
Mike you aint that wierd, unless you and I are the same kinda weird, because thats all I been doing all day with my new 4000g, hope my wife doesnt get jealous of the way I been fondling this thing [:P]
Hey! Congrats man![8D]
I wish you great camo jobs and fine lines or what ever you need! Please let us seee some pics! [:D]
Enjoy!
You two give a whole new meaning to the phrase “Air Guitar” [:)] Have you finished painting the whole house yet?
None of my business, Jeff, but just to try and help you keep from making a mistake, is this your first airbrush or do you have some experience with them? If you haven’t played with one before you should probably get some sheets of styrene and some junky paint and practice a bit first. They can be finicky and very seldom does someone just pick one up for the first time and start spraying perfect paint jobs. I’d hate to see you mess up the models you’ve been saving.
Good advice Scott.
Find an old model to practice on or any other hard surface.
Mike
I have quit a bit of experience with airbrushes, enough to know also when you get a new brush of a type you never have used before…Omni in this case you should practice with it first anyways. No matter how much experience you have.
Good enough for me. You’d be surprised at the number of people who post here about getting a new airbrush one day and post the next day disappointed with the results they are getting. Just didn’t want you to be one of them.
nah…I know what to look for [;)], I am just not expecting perfection.
Disapointment is not a word that I would ever use in association with the Omni4000!!!
Enjoy it, it’s a great brush.
Karl
Awesome!!!
We’re expecting soon ourselves! not sure if it’s going to be a “omni4000” or a “iwata”. just depends on how my luck is while in reno. semper fi, mike
