The H-34G conversion to an H-34D/S-58 Belgium SAR is well underway,
and the P-47N is getting close to having some of those fabulous Pyn-Up decals placed on her,
The Do-217 M-11 conversion is just starting so there is not much to show of that one yet.
They are all looking great. How have you found the Academy P-47 to be so far? I’m working on a D model at the moment. It’s been a good build so far. What did you use for the NMF on the Jug? Was it Alclad? If so, what type? And how did you prime the model for it?
Thanks for the pics mate, and sorry about all the questions.
The Academy model just about puts itself together, a very pleasent build. I primed this with Krylon gloss black then used a combination of Alclad 2 colors followed by my enamels.
the chopper looks good, but the NMF on that P-47 is to die for!!! probably the most uniform I have seen… I haven’t used Alclad yet but defnitely gonna get me some as I am contemplating building another B-36 Peacemaker and a finish like that would look SWEET on it!
Good work Swanny! I always enjoy your pics… keep em coming!!!
