Progress on some of the other stuff on the bench

The H-34G conversion to an H-34D/S-58 Belgium SAR is well underway,

and the P-47N is getting close to having some of those fabulous Pyn-Up decals placed on her,

The Do-217 M-11 conversion is just starting so there is not much to show of that one yet.

Still trying to decide what to do for build #4.

swanny that is fantastic. great work.

They are all looking great. How have you found the Academy P-47 to be so far? I’m working on a D model at the moment. It’s been a good build so far. What did you use for the NMF on the Jug? Was it Alclad? If so, what type? And how did you prime the model for it?

Thanks for the pics mate, and sorry about all the questions.

The Academy model just about puts itself together, a very pleasent build. I primed this with Krylon gloss black then used a combination of Alclad 2 colors followed by my enamels.

Nice work, Swanny. Love that finish on that Thunderbolt!

Hey Swanny…that Jug looks great! Be sure to post more pics when its done for us to admire.

the chopper looks good, but the NMF on that P-47 is to die for!!! probably the most uniform I have seen… I haven’t used Alclad yet but defnitely gonna get me some as I am contemplating building another B-36 Peacemaker and a finish like that would look SWEET on it!

Good work Swanny! I always enjoy your pics… keep em coming!!!

Swanny…nice looking assembly line you have there.[:)] When do you find time to sleep? [:D]

It’s all good Swanny. Love the H-34 flew my first mission in Vietnam. semper fi, mike

Cant wait to see the conclusion of the jug please dont keep us in to much suspence thanks for the pics.

Nice to see something Belgian in here, time to time! Both models look great!

Yer killin’ me, Matt. How on earth do you grind 'em out so dang fast??! Do you have a clone or something??

I have time for just 2 builds at one time let alone four. Your making my head hurt.

My wife has got to get a better job so that I can quit mine…must build more.
