Hi guys, here is what I have done so far, just some PE tp go on it and it’s ready for paint :D. It’s Legonds conversion set, and it fix perfectally…
This will be going in the dio aswell…

I actually don’t have a etch mate, I just use tweezers, this is the first time so far that I have not lost anything lol. About the painting, almost all of that stuff is the same colour, all I really have to paint is the wood and the extra tracks, the rest is the same colour as the tank - so I am lucky there! 
EDIT: I’ll take a picture of the box so you can see how it will be painted later on, I am going out soon so I can’t do it now…

The ARV is one of the conversions on my list. Great work! I assume the basis for this is a DRAGON or DML M4A4? It will look great in your diorama. Where is your diorama going to be set? Normandy? Ortona? Falaise? Have you thought about adding mud/soil build up to the hull and running gear? I am currently reading through an account of Canadians in NorthWest Europe and the pictures show plenty of build up on the running gear. As your build continues post more pictures. I have to get back to the bench working on a new diorama myself. Canadian Infantry advancing past a knocked out Panther.

gburdon, I used Dragons most recent “Firefly” kit for the basis. The dio is going to be set in Germany, I forget the city, but it starts with an ‘R’ and was mentioned in my other posts for this dio. I want to add mud and stuff after painting because I want to use MIG pigments or some other source…

The Legond kit for my seemed perfect, evreything went great! No parts lost, all parts used The resin was also really nice and good detail, I saw review on Perth on this kit…
Anyway, I’ll post more pics up once I get her painted…

Anthony, glad to see you picked the king of all resin! How did you find their instruction sheet though? LOL THis looks really cool man, can’t wait to see what you do as a finish! This dio is going to be cool! Legend’s stuff is definately worth it’s weight in gold…

Ok guys, I managed to go to the LHS today and got some paint as well as some pigments. I just sprayed it MM Faded Olive Drab (2051) and am letting it dry. I got MIG rust pigments and applied them to my
Sturmtiger. I would take pics but my dad took the camera on a trip with him and he wont be home for a day or so, once he does get back, I’ll post pics immediately.
Ok got the camera today and took some pics, not the best, but they will do… You can also see my new and improved sculpted figure and a bit more of the Sturmtiger.

A couple things. Your figure is coming along great. Just keep the proportions to scale and it will be fantastic. It may be the photos but the Battle Dress Blouse right arm looks a little thick when compared to the torso. One thing I forgot to mention earlier, next time you’re at Northstar pick up a Scale Card. It shows the dimensions for an average 1/35 human from infant to adult.
The last point is the ARV looks great, but…The driver compartment is empty when viewed from above. You could just spray black into the hatch to mute it out. Or pose a second figure to hide the missing detail.
Other than that. Great build. Great work on the figure.

Thanks, I know about the fig, still trying to decide whether or not to use it, I also think the pics make it look worse than it is, after sanding and priming, I’ll see…
Both compartments are empty, but once the figs go in place it should take up the space, if I end up not using figs I will end up painting it black or inserting black card so you can’t see in…
Scale card eh?? They free??
ha ha ha… FREE? You can try and sweet talk Sheldon and the boys, but I think you will still end up paying the $5.00 for it. They are in various scales, call them first and make sure they have one in stock so you don’t waste a trip. They are on the side of the shop with the tools towards the front up on the pegboard section.

Thanks guys, I have really started to focus on my Avro Arrow which is long over do for the Canadian GB, so I won’t be working too much more on this until I’m done or unless I am waiting for something to dry…
