hey guys, i finally got a digital camera, and i have to use it. these are progress pics of my iraqi diorama. i just have the base of plywood now, i havent started making the actual ground now. so far i have the SA-2 all finished, i will add some dusting and hasty camo to the missile. the M1 is the crappy one from Academy, with the Verlinen and Legend AM storage kits. im still adding some gear to the back. im in the middle of the track now, i finished one but it took awhile, and patience hehe. i just am experimenting with the weathering with pastels on em to look good. i have a Hobbycraft BMP which i mutilated with fire [}:)] and painted all flat black as a base coat. i havent started with pastels or paint on it yet to look burnt, i need to get more pastels. i also have a Italeri Desert Patrol M998 that i have a conversion kit, the Verlinden M998 troop carrier. thats my first PE kit so its going slow. im also looking to get an AA gun, either the GAZ66 truck or a ZSU-23. i used to build models with my dad but these are my FIRST completed models on my own, so ANY criticism or advice is MUCH appreciated. thanks, and here ya go.
