Problem with site on my phone, Android & on PC

  1. I have a problem on my phone where I cant log in or out or post through my phone. Have a Galaxy A6 and I think it uses Chrome. Page says welcome back, Log out and update account on the left side of the black bar but they do nothing and it looks like I’m not logged in. I cant log out or log in. Was in the hospital this summer for a few weeks and thats when I first noticed it. Kind of sucked that all I could do while in there is look and couldnt comment or post anything. I’ve cleared the cookies also with no results. The FSM site is the only site I have issues with on the phone?
  2. I havnt recieved notifications on subscribed posts for some time now. When I go into my profile is says I’m not subscribed to anything but I know I’ve checked the boxes. Super annoying when your waiting for advise or if you are running a GB.
  3. Thinking my provider is the bottleneck I tried to change the email to a Gmail account but the site will not change the email it even though it tells me the email was changed.

Any suggestions?

Over a week with no Mod response. I’ve also tried to log out and back in on my PC figuring that might help but was unable to log out on the PC. Running FireFox on the PC. Going away to take care of some business and be away from the PC for a week so I’ll be awol pretty soon.

Unfortunately the mods don’t seem to give much feedback on these threads unless there are multiple users having similar problems.

Try clearing your browser data.

touch the elipses at the bottom right …

touch settings

touch Privacy

touch Clear Browsing Data

I would select browsing history, cookies and cached images and files

then touch Clear Browsing Data at the bottom

Hope that works for you.

I actually did get the phone back in working order last night. I cleared the cookies and history again and I even cleared the stored passwords and anything having to do with FSM. I’m was finally able to log into FSM through the phone. Thats one down.

Still no reply from the mod I messaged and no comment here from a mod. [:(]

Frankly, the nofications challenge has been an issue we’ve been trying to track down for years. It’s an elusive beast, and we have yet to find our Pallamedes to bring it to ground. Honestly, at this point, it will probably have to wait for when we replatform the community site and start with a fresh slate.

Tim, Have you had any luck with changing my email? I havnt heard a thing from the site and when I try that link its telling me that my current email is invalid? Does the link only work if there is a paid subscription?

They never did fix my email where it change but did say my notification option boxes aren’t checked off by when I look at them all of the notification options are checked off.

Notifications and being able to change my registered email is still not fixed.
