Anyone know who has tires for Rally cars?
I need some snow tires, or gravel tires, or anything but the stupid street tires they put in the boxes.
Thanks

Hi!!! this is my first post, I hope I can help you. I found this web site were you could find pretty much every accesory you may need for Pro rally modeling, the web site is (http://asiapac.worldpay.com/cnb/shop/mediamixhobby?op=catalogue-products-null&prodCategoryID=37&listPos=). I hope this page my help you!!!
Hi!!! I forgot to ask you ,if you put a topcoat or what do you put or do before applying decals to the windows?
I will apreciate your help!!!
There is a company called MRM, don’t know if there is a website,
but they make different rally tires.Hope this is what you are after.

Thanks fella’s I’ll check them out, so far I have had no luck finding anything Rally car wise on any site I have looked into. Tamiya has e-mailed me and said they have no plans to put anything but street tires in the kits.
Bad, I clear coat all my scale glass with Future then decal over that. Never had a problem so far.
Bad, Can’t wait to tell you, that was EXACTLY what I needed to see!
My wife isn’t too pleased but I think it’s great!
Have you ordered from MMH before? The prices seem good but are in Singapore Dollars which leads me to believe the exchange rate my kill me, Oh well!!
Thanks again!
Don
Hi Don!!!
I’m glad you like this site[:D]’
I’m sorry to tell you that I havent buy anything from them , so I would not know if the products are good, bud they seem to be. the one thing I know is that they writhe in FSM. so if you look inthe magazine you some other information about them. If you have any more questions just ask me!!!
I have one cuestion for you and that is, What rally car are you building?
Baduy
I started with the Puegeot 206 (Tamiya).
A friend just told me Hasagawa WRC are much better. . .is this true?
So far I like the Tamiya. . .but trying to decide on the base for display is a challenge.
I’m looking at a cliff scene for the Monte Carlo rally the decals depict.
Don
Actually DK I have the Ford Focus 2000 v. Catalunya winner from Hasegawa, it 's not as good as the ones from Tamiya bucause It lacks some details but the good thing is that ithas a photo eche and the material for the seat belts and some other things… but so far I’m just building the F.Focus 2001 from tamiya. when I’m finish I would star whit the 2001Peugeot 206 and then with the Hasegawa Ford Focus.
Also the Hasegawa kit does not come with drivers and the fift tire, bud that doesn’t mean it’s a bad kit…
which color primer did you use with your Peugeot 206 ?

I just bought the 1:43 Airfix (Humbrol) kit of the Mitsubishi rally car. There aren’t many parts in the kit (32), but it doesn’t look too bad for a small kit. The body looks pretty good and the panel lines don’t look seriously out-of-scale to me. I bought it as a fun project and expect it won’t take more than a day or two to finish. Looking forward to it!!
If anyone knows of any websites with some photos/details of this car, please post them or email me…

Pro Rally or WRC??
Don
Good question?? I have no idea what the difference is between Pro Rally and WRC?? If it makes a difference, the car looks pretty much stock, with the exception of all of the decals and logos all over it.
(I don’t have the kit in front of me right now because it’s out in my car…)

Sorry Bad, I was out goofing off and didn’t read your post about primer.
I’m afraid I am a bad modeler. . .I do not usually use a primer.
I shot Testor’s non buffing Aluminum right over the bare plastic of the Puegeot
as per the Testor’s instructions so I suppose I’m not that bad. I tried to get the mold lines off the body but they wouldn’t come off. So I washed it, dried it then painted it.
Mkish I have some photos of a Mits Pro Rally car I could email you if you are interested. The difference between Pro Rally and WRC? I’m not sure either, though David Higgins who runs SCCA Pro Rally is talking to the Mitsubishi WRC team. . .
