It seems very similar to the Badger’s Omni 3000. I would like to know if “Pro Modeler” is compatible with Badger’s replacement parts. I already sent an e-mail to Badger but they did not an response, and in Revell-Monogram website doesn’t “contact us” section.
I already sent an e-mail to Revell Deutschland, and they said that their airbrushes are not compatible with Badger’s parts. But, the Air Brush 6000 is not in Revell AG rage, there’s “Vega” not “Omni”.
wierd… I didn’t see any airbrushes on the Revell site so I went to revell.de and their airbrushes are Badgers! I am almost sure! the handles are just different colors in some cases… they had the 360 swivel, what looks to be a Vega 2000 and what looks to be a 150…
tho9900, A british modeler told me that only some parts of Revell AG Airbrushes are common to Badgers.
MusicCity, do you really have a “Pro Modeler Airbrush 6000”? Are you sure that’s a Omni 3000? If it’s true, I will buy it! Did you already tested some Badger part on your Pro Modeler? I’m afraid it be not “compatible”…
That is an Omni 3000 without a doubt and the diagram below it shows the Omni 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, Omni Nailair, and the Omni Matrix.
I wasn’t aware that they were selling one of these but I do know that Revell sells Badger’s airbrushes under their own model numbers.
I even asked Ken about this at the Nationals.
Sluiz,
Email Ken Schlotfeldt and ask him about it, he will set you straight.
He is the owner/President of Badger kenbadger@aol.com
actually I think he posted a pic of a 3000… if you look real close at the pic it says 3000 and what looks like the word Omni in front of it… and when I noticed this and was going to save the pic to enlarge and check it, out the name of the pic is Omni.jpg or something like that…
I think maybe he posted the pic of the Omni wondering if it was the same as his…
Look, I think the Revell AG airbrushes are of Badger “Vega” series, but “Pro Modeler” airbrushes are of “Omni” series. I don’t know the difference between the series, but I’ll ask Ken.
