Primer Question

I picked up one of the new ROTS blasters and I want to give it a realistic paint job.The plastic is a bit softer than that used for model kits.Can anyone recommend a good primer.I’d like to give it a fairly durable finish.Any comments would be welcome.

The Kryolon Fusion paints may do the trick. I have had that stuff stick to some difficult surfaces.
