Amazon is leasing 20 aircraft as they vertically integrate (pun intended) their business.
I don’t have a place for a 767 model, but I wonder if anyone has seen one of these yet.
I’m up at SFO this week, but I’m guessing they use OAK as FedEx also has a big operation there.
They just built a gigantic building at SMF, wonder if that is a possibility.
there seems to always be 1 or 2 at SEATAC.
I have 2 friends at Atlas, which is the contractor for Amazon. One is a 767 Captain and the other is a First Officer. DHL in Cincinnati made Amazon a good deal to use their facility during the day. I haven’t seen any decals, but the airplanes are Atlas Air birds. Both friends frequently fly the Amazon flights.
