Pride of the Luftwaffe GB

Welcome to the Pride of the Luftwaffe Group Build. This GB is intended to highlight two of the most important and feared aircraft fielded by the Luftwaffe in the second World War. The build is open to any and all variants of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 & Focke-Wulf Fw 190 (including the TA 152).

The rules are simple:

-Any scale

-OOB or aftermarket goodies ok

-Crossovers welcome

-Partially built up to fuselage halves glued together ok

-WIP pics a must!

-Have fun enjoying this great hobby

The build will start October 9th 2017 & run until October 31st 2018. You are welcome to join anytime during the build timeframe.

I decided on my Tamiya kit (1/48). Just ordered the canopy mask for it too!

Looks like we should have some really nice builds coming!

I’ll be doing a 1/72 Hasegawa Fw190 F-8. I picked it up along with a resin pit at a show earlier this year.

WOW theres alot wolf’s going on in this gb …nice to see a few ta 152 s …im in the last stages of a 51-b…and a bf-109 G2 trop …both in 1/32 . As soon as these are done …im so diveing in both wolf’s. [;)]

I am stoked about building this one. It is motteled upper and lower heavily and should take some time to paint. It looks super cool in the box art. Thanks for the kind words.

I got a bunch of goodies for both of them, so I might go a bit crazy with that…
