here is some pics of a wip steampunk rv. The back end has a living room bed room and bath room. the front will be a steam tractor with a kitchen attached. Everything exept the moldings are scratch.

I wonder how long it will be before we see a kit of some steampunk subject. I see it as a branch of SF, and there are tons of SF kits out there. But, in the meantime I am looking for a good graphic of one of the airships from the old Tales of Jules Vern TV series. I have built a couple of airship kits, so a steampunk airship sounds like it is doable as a scratch project.
the scale is a trumpet mouth piece. As you can see i made a toilet for a past model, so when I started this I decided that I would use a trumpet mouthpiece for my "scale " as an injoke to fellow brass players. once I began construction I really liked the scale. One problem is my doors are not quite to scale but it works.

Beautiful model, but I’m just curious: Is it a model of something you saw in a movie, or is it a model of something completely in your head up to this point?
I’ll tell you one thing: I don’t think I’ll see any of the “snowbirds” here in Arizona driving one of those down the freeway![:D]
sorry about the late reply. I have had some computer issues. The idea came from a real steampunk creation called the Neverwas haul that a guy did for burning man. I wanted something a bit more realistic to the victorian era insteam of a 3 story house on wheels
