New to this forum like I am, I wonder how to post pictures. I’m only an intermediate builder myself, but I do have some stuff I’d like to show off, I guess.

the best way to post pix is to get a web server. There is a string under “forum help” at the bottom of the forum index that provides the names of several websites that provide a place to post your pictures for free. You can pay for other sites that allow more pictures, but the for-free ones are ok for most uses. I use www.photobucket.com, but there are others. Once you post your pictures on aforementioned website, you can post them in a string by typing [ img ] www.photobucket.com/p51pix [ img ] or something like that. I put spaces between the brackets and the img so the computer wouldn’t think I was trying to post an actual picture there. Look under “forum help” if what I have said is as clear as mud.

This should help you out tremendously. Go to the Community Assistance (aka Forum Help) Forum, go to the 3rd page there, and look for a posting by stuka_69 called “Posting Images ???”. In there, you’ll find detailed instructions by Wild Weasel giving you exact step-by-step instructions on how to upload and post your images. Good Luck!!
