JUst finished putting the final coat on a car and saw that it has some blemishes in the paint. Any help in polishing these out would be GREATLY appreciated, including where to get the wet sanding paper and polishing kits if possible. Thanks in advance,

I use a polishing kit from www.micromark.com, which has grades from 3000-12000. Use all grades, don’t skip any. Then I use Novus plastic polishing 3 and 2, which finish off the glossiness.
you can also use this system on damaged windscreens.
I find building supply/home improvement stores such as Lows, Home Depot and Menards have some, although it is hard to find anything finer than 600. Car Parts stores often have a better supply of finer stuff. The better hobby shops also have the fine grades, although the price will be higher. For polish, if nothing else, toothpaste works as a medium polish.
If you use auto polish, use it only as an absolute last step unless you can verify it has no WAX or silicone in it. Both of these substances prevent adhesion of any subsequent paint or clear coats.
Hobby Lobby carries Alpha Abrasives finishing sets in the grits Octane Orange mentioned. I got all mine with the 40% coupon which made it a pretty decent price.
edit: I should say, MY Hobby Lobby carries them. Not sure about your area.

The Polishing cloths are readily available as are the Tamiya compounds that he uses. This helped me a bunch! Hope this helps you too! Happy building!
