I’ve got them. Would you like a scan e-mailed to you?
I can scan my Ertl plans too if it’ll help or can’t reach Aurora-7.
That would be great, my e-mail address is,
Andrew@pearson6982.freeserve.co.uk, or andrewpea@tiscali.co.uk.
Many thanks
Andrew

Andy,
I’m sending them right now.
This was one of the model kits that was put out during the marketing blitz preceding the Phantom Menace movie. It was one of the three glue kits and is nicely detailed. AMT/Ertl did a real good job on the kits from this movie, but there were just so many of them. I can remember the PX in Ft. Dix, NJ selling these things for 75% off just to clear shelf space.
IIRC, the glue kits were: STAP w/Battle Droid; Trade Federation Battle Tank; Anakin’s Pod Racer (most complicated of the kits).
The snap kits were: Naboo Fighter; Droid Fighter 3-pack; Gungan Sub.
The Naboo Fighter was also issued in diecast metal form with a pre-painted body and polished metal “chrome” pieces.
They also had these tiny pre-painted kits that came in a box the size of a deck of cards. The were on hang tags and retailed for around $2. I remember only the big winged landing craft and the “hippo head” looking troop transport, but I do know there were others. Perhaps Darth Maul’s ship and the big circular control ship?
I would have liked to see Darth Maul’s ship done in glue format. I remember helping my son build the pod racer, but it was way beyond his skill level (he was about 9 or 10). Still got the kit somewhere.
These things were in Wal-Marts, Targets, K-B Toys, hobby shops, Toys R Us. I remeber seeing the Pod Racers for $4.99 at Toy Liquidators in the Philadelphia, PA area.
