Pledge Future floor finish and the canopy

Hello

I purchased Pledge Future floor finish because the essential Techniques magazine says It will clear up the canopy of my A-10 Warthog.

I have already painted the canopy frames with a grey paint

My question is, if I drop my already painted canopy into the floor finish. What kind of reaction will I get with the paint. Will it affect the painted parts of the canopy or will it remain painted.

Future is to be applied BEFORE you paint! If your paint is fully cured it should have no adverse reaction other than making it very glossy.

As Gerald said above, except that if it’s acrylic paint, it may run.

Remember that if you intend to flat coat the model afterwards, you will need to re-mask the canopy. (Never flat coat over clear parts if you want them to remain clear)
