Please ,can some one help me?

I wish to join in with model competition,braille scale competition. In May the theme is “70th Anniversary of the battle for France”(http://braillescalecomp.com/themes.html) ,kit join to these must be vehicle from any of the combatting nations (France, Germany & Great Britain) that would have taken part in the combat during 1940. Here is my kits in stock.

  • Churchill mk. III

  • British Matador with 5.5 inch gun

  • M26 Dragon wagon ?

  • Jeep willys ?

  • StuG IV

  • Elephant

  • Kubelwagen

  • Kentenrad

I like allied vehicle but German is also acceptable. Can someone help me which kit(s) can I use for join the theme in May.

The only for sure thing I see of on your list is the Kubelwagen. Everything else is later than 1940 I am pretty sure, save for maybe the Matador w/ 5.5" gun.

The Kettenkraftrad was used in 1940, although I am not enough of a German expert to know if it was used in the Battle of France.

Thank you Rob Gronovius , may be I’ll choose Kubelwagen :slight_smile: . Kettenkraftrad is too small for me.

I cant say for certain, but the earliest combat use of the Kettenkrads I recall reading about was during Crete in 1941. Its design purpose was a air deliverable light tractor for airborne forces coming in by Ju-52.
