Plastic kits of antique pistols

When I was a kid (about 4 decades ago) I recall getting as gifts some plastic model kits of antique pistols. I recall a 17th-18th century “pirate” pistol, an early Colt six shooter of some kind, and I think a derringer. As I recall, they were pretty much full size. Is anything like that made today? Does anyone else remember these old kits? If so, do you remember any specifics? Maybe I could find them on E-Bay if there is no current equivalent. Thanks,

TomB

I sure do remember them - they were made by Revell. I built the Colt .36 Navy revolver once - made a total mess of it. I got another kit of the same handgun later on, intending to do a better job. It still sits in my stash to this day.

You can find them on eBay, but they aren’t cheap:

Those are the only 3 available n the Bay right now - all from the same seller.

Pyro also made a series of 1/1 scale pistols. They may also be found on eBay.
