Does anyone know who supplies basswood planking strips for ship models? Size must be 0.6 mm x 7 mm wide

Try Micro Mark. They sell all kind’s of wood. And other stuff you can’t possably live without!
You could also look at Walther’s website. They primarily sell model rail road stuff , but a lot of their stuff has more than one use.

Midwest Products is a big supplier of hobby basswood and balsa in the US. However, their stripwood is likely listed in inches. If you can convert sizes okay, look them up (many hobby shops, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby carry Midwest products. Amazon carries some sizes and assortments.
Blue Jacket was suggested- I’d try them.
If I read it right, requirement is 0.6mm thick, 7mm wide. In inches (I haven’t seen a supplier in metric sizes although I’m sure they are around), 0.024 inches thick by 0.275 inches wide. Those dimensions are at the very upper and lower limits of available strip wood, which usually is 0.032 inches thick or 0.25. inches wide. There’s 0.50 inches wide, but not a lot of steps in between.
I suggest you get some 1/32 inch sheet and try slicing it up in 7mm widths.
Must be a building model or a larger scale boat.
