PHEW !

Wow, those are some beautiful builds. It didn’t take me long to realize that you’ve built more in this year than I have in my lifetime

So, let’s generalize for the sake of assumption… 40 or so hours per build? Almost half a year’s worth of full-time work? Wow!

You have been busy. A very nice collection of wonderful workmanship. Looking forward to seeing the next years production.

Very impressive! I have only completed two models out of four. I completely took apart my Corsair, it was 75 % complete but some costly mistakes took place and I decided to do it all over again. You certainly have a spirit of excellence when it comes to your projects.

Pix…you are a MACHINE!

Nice work… Wish I could even do half that much. Dave -DPD Productions - Featuring the NEW ‘Military Aircraft’ Photo CD - http://eje.railfan.net/dpdp/

Beautiful work pix! I have enjoyed all of them and they have helped me figure out how to make mine look a wee bit better too, so please keep it up. Your work is really appreciated from over here. [:D]

Hey Pix… Your always in there giving my builds great compliments, so thank you… I just wish that I had a camera that can do them justice like yours!.. They are certainly sweet!.. I particularly have a soft spot for the Japanese stuff! Keep em comming… I think I have finally found a fellow speed builder!

Chris

Pixilater,
both the quality and quantity of your builds is amazing! look forward to seeing more. Keep up the good work!

Hi Bill, Wow! I did’nt realise you had built that many this year! All of them are superb, you are really producing some amazing work, I hope that one day I’ll produce something that looks as good. Thanks for the show, Darren.

Thanks qtaylor, Swanny, Ernie, Vinny, Dave, jcfay, Chris, Jimmy, and Darren !

Chris - I’m not actually a speed builder, I just have a LOT of time to build (I’m disabled). Most of the single-seaters took about 100 hours, and the P-61, Ju 88, Mosquito, and C-47 are more like 200. The Ta 152 and Ta 154 were about 150 hours. I spend 30 to 50 hours a week building.

I use a Canon PowerShot G5 (5 megapixel) camera. Since it’s been replaced by their G7 (7 megapixel), these can be found fairly inexpensively. New, it was about $900, and I got mine for about $325 and traning in my PowerShot G2 (4 megapixel).

Thanks again ! I wonder what I’ll be building next year? I still have six Trimaster Me 262s . . .

I noticed on a few of those that the elavators and rudders were a different shade of the base colour. Is that to simulate the difference in the way paint looks on metal and cloth?

Great collection of great builds. In the words of Bob Hope, “Thanks for the memories” [:)].

Regards, Rick

Pix,

You have been one busy hombre, my friend! [:D] I’m retired, and I have only managed to complete 4 kits this year! Your work is outstanding, and your retrospective clearly shows it. I do, however, see a definite pattern of preference in your a/c choices…thanks for sharing with us all!

The quantity is impressive but what always blows me away is the high quality! Looking forward to '06!

What an awesome display of your 2005 work Pix-- thanks for posting!!

Wow Pix! I thought I was doing good with 6 completed builds this year! What type of display cases do you have to show off your completed models? Thanks for sharing - I’m impressed with the awesome quality and quantity of your builds. I always look forward to seeing your pics. I just purchased a digital camera so hopefully I will be able to share some pics as well!
