Pivoting bombs pylons

Hi dudes! [?]
Some onehave any idea for made pivoting pylons. I have a f-111 and a tornado in 1/72, I would like moving the wing, but, how do I do with the bobms racks and missile Pylons? Any idea for made the pylons swings with the wings?

The instruction show how made swings the wings, but don’t show anything about the pylons. (swing wings and glue pylons? bad idea don’t u?)

thanks
Carlos

What you need is the instruction sheet for the Zhengdefu 1/48 F-111 or EF-111. It does have the swing pylon assembly. To do this in 1/72 scale your going to need to make the parts from scratch and scratch build it. You will need to intergrate it into the wings swing assembly. Going to take alot of work.

Good Luck

Yep, looks like a lot of work. I suppose you could cut the linkages from sheet styrene. I’m not one to say it cant be done, so, more power to ya if you decide to make a go of it.

arghhhhhhh…a lot of complex work

A simple solution might be the best. Sand off any mounting pins on the top of the pylons. Drill a hole down into the pylon where the front pin has been and fill the rear hole on the underside of the aircraft’s wing. Then find a simple flat headed sewing pin, push it down from the inside of the lower wing through the front hole and superglue it into the hole you have drilled in the top of the pylon. Take GREAT CARE to ensure that none of the glue comes out of the hole onto the underside of the wing. That way, you can simply swing the wing and then gently push the pylon into its correct position. Job done! Hope this helps.

Kinda seems to me like a good excuse to build two models.
