OV-1D 25874 N1171Y of the Carolinas Aviation Museum - nice flight crew, quite proud of their bird. Shark’s mouth recently painted, doesn’t have the red in the mouth yet. They’ve got a gutted SLAR pod, and operational night photography flasher pod and IDECM pods, but with the bang seats deactivated (pyrotechnics were overage, plus liability concerns) they’re restricted in carrying a lot of things.

C-130E 65-0976 “AFRC” “Rescue” “FL” Now here’s a puzzler
-0976 was built as an HC-130H, converted to a WC-130H, and then modded as a HC-130P. Sitting on the ramp at the 911th, where it was sent for NVG-compatible lighting rework, it has a data block listing it as a C-130E - some basis in fact there as it is at heart an E with the H-model engines. It’s been up here for some time, and it was relayed to me that none of the wiring is where they thought it would be, and thus the entire interior is said to be ripped up. No tanker pods, no nose turret. Apparently not going anywhere in the near future.
