Pima air museum

I am going to Pima Air Museum in Tucson, AZ tomorrow. I know it is a short notice but if you ever wanted pictures of a particular A/C that you know is there let me know and I will take a few. I myself am interested in A-26, the Connie and the Sikorsky skycrane to name a few. I will be leaving early -it is about two and a half hrs drive and I want to be there by 9:00am but I will check the forum before I leave.

All of them…[:D]

Been 10-15 years since I’ve been to Pima. I was hoping to get back there this year. By the looks of the website it’s been upgrade a bit since I was there.

The F3D Skyknight (USMC, if possible), and the F-8 Crusader (again USMC, if possible). Thanks for the offer!! I sure hope you have a great time out there.

I sure hope you post some of those A-26 pics.

Ok, I’m off to see the wizard… I will post pictures by tonight.
Devil Dawg, I will look for the Crusader and the Skynight.

Whatever pics you post will be gratefully viewed [:)].

Fantastic stuff there! One of these days, I’ll have to make a return visit.

Make sure to get a boneyard tour. It’s so sad to see all those airplanes out there with holes punched in them.

I got home later than I thought and I didn’t have any time to post any pictures tonight. I brought total of 350 pictures and two 30sec movies of a cut-a-way rotating engine. I hope I can get something up tomorrow.

I think you just soared to the top of the modelers favorite resource list. Your efforts and generosity are greatly appreciated. It’s not feasible to post 350 pictures on this forum, but how about a list of what you have? Depending on where you host your pictures, you could group them by aircraft and then post a URL link to each of those clusters. Thanks again,

Looking forward to the pics. I made it down there last Aug during the Nats and took a few myself. Check them out, they start here:
