Pictures of my latest Diorama

Still undecided on a name. Tentatively, “Winter Wonderland”
Old Tamiya T-34/76 kit
Dragons “Cold Wind” figure kit
Let me know what you think of the diorama and I’m open to suggestions for a title.

Quite a moody, sombre scene you have brought to life- especially so in those black and white shots. You can almost feel the chill whipping around them as they forge in through the icy, frosty landscape. It has a sense of quiet about it too- the way things sometimes get in such weather- just the rattle of equipment and crunching footsteps as they pass the tank. The muted, grey-ish tones really suit the scene too.

I’m cold just looking at this!

Outstanding work! The soldiers’ poses truly reflect the cold and their sense of despair. How about “Retreat From Moscow II?”

Great job. I think winter scenes are hard to do. I like the tow cable stretched out in an apparent rescue attempt.

How about “Do svidaniya” - the fun part is you don’t know who is saying it.

If you wanted to make the person viewing the diorama feel the sting of the cold, you absolutely nailed it. I love the black and white photos. Congratulations!!!

This is one of the cooler dioramas Ive seen in a long time. Winter wonderland is perfect and so are those figure poses! The black and white photo is really cool!

This is a very telling and excellent diorama. The cold is very evident in your B&W pics. Mr_Tom_Schry recommended the title ‘Retreat from Moscow II’. But it looks like they’re advancing past a knocked-out T-34 instead of retreating, It, looks like Operation Typhoon; the Winter of 1941 push to capture the Russian capital of Moscow. Just before the Russians counterattacked. Here is my rendition of that Russian counterattack. I called my diorama ‘Rude Awakening’. I’m going to do mine in B&W, to see if it looks colder. lol.
