French military modeler, I would like to send a pic of my latest model. What kind of pic do I have to send to FSM ? from what kind of camera ? And how do I have to do it ?

Are you sending it to the magazine or this website? If it is to this website you have to link the photo to another site where it is stored. I believe it is in the discussions forum: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=30

For the magazine’s Reader Gallery we take slides, transparencies, or prints. Be careful about choosing the background; light gray or very light blue seem to work best. We have worked out trial guidelines for digital photos:
- The camera should have a 4 megapixel resolution; 3 megapixels is the minimum.
- Take the photos with your camera’s highest resolution setting; higher is always better (most have 3 settings–low, standard, and high).
- The final image should measure about the size of a 3x5 print
- Send the photos on diskette or CD…if the file is large (as most high-res digitals are), there can be problems getting it to go through e-mail.
