Here are two more pictures from my last photo shoot tests, they are more of those Luft 46 style of aircraft. Hope you like them.
I am looking forward to finishing the photobase so I can join the ‘‘Prototypes and Paper Projects’’ group build, I have never done one of these group build thingies before, it sounds like fun.
Getting busy at your airport, Matrixone! What’s that grey mottled twin in the top picture? Looks Japanese to me, but what is it?
Can’t wait for you to get onboard for our weird planes group build [8D][tup]
The strange looking twin engined airplane is the German built version of the Japanese Dinah.
The Germans were considering building the Dinah for their own airforce but never reached license agreement with the Japanese, besides the Me 262 was developed and proved to be much better than the Dinah.
obiwan, My next picture taking session I will take a pic of the box art of that three seat Me 262…I have not forgotten, I am gone at least 12 hours from home each day I work which does not leave much time for photography during my work week. I plan on more picture taking this weekend.
The building is part kit, part scratchbuilt, I found it at a hobby shop in a close out sale.
Looks GREAT! I’m a nut for a Do 335, anyways! It’s the 335 that got me back into modeling after a 13 year absence (got married, had some pups). Started Monogram’s 335 kit before all that happened, then about 2 years ago I pulled it out of storage and finished it. Talk about a long-term project! Great photos!
The Do 335 in the picture is the Dragon 1/72 scale. I built the Monogram Do 335 years ago before I left the hobby to start flying R/C, and I think its a great kit for its day. I have one more in my kit stash.
