Great-looking stuff!
The Hen Long Tiger is very, very nice! But…tell Art Instructor that the mantlet is still on upside-down! Apparently, all the 1/16 Hen Long Tigers come that way…
Great job on the painting and weathering, though!

As usual, superb models. I really love the T-72.
Just out of curiosity, what do you mean he turned the 1/16 tiger into an all-steel one?

djmodels, I still have no display cabinet to keep the Tiger. So it stays on top of my TV in my bedroom.

J-Hulk, the Heng Long’s Tiger mantlet comes that way, we can’t do anything about it.

zokissima, I mean that by his weathering, the plastic tank looks like a real steel tank. [;)]

Sure you can!
Apparently it’s quite easy to remove the gun and turn the mantlet around the right way.

Again, “Art Instructor” did a beautiful job of turning that toy into a masterpiece!

Great looking stuff! This is the first time I’ve looked at your site, so may I express my AWE with the tour of your room… I’m sending a few of those pictures to so my wife so she can see I’m a mere novice as a modelling addict. I’ll take me a few months to go through all that info/pictures.

Looking good as usual. The hen long tiger is nice . The mantlet can bee fixed ,I did it to mine, also the anttenna needs to be moved.Also there needs to be vision ports in the blisters on the turret sides.I will show you pics soon of mine to show ya.[:)]

I’m contended with what I have. Messing around with it may end up in malfunction of the gun.

thundergod, you removed the antenna?. I found out that once installed it cannot be removed. Looking forward to see the pictures of you you fixed your Heng Long Tiger. [:)]

You’re right about the dangers of messing with the gun; from what I’ve heard, those HL tanks are VERY sensitive! It doesn’t take much to cause them to malfunction.
Actually, they seem to do a pretty good job of that all on their own! [;)]
