Please See "pics of my current build (REVISED and RESIZED)
From what I can see it is looking like a great build.
One comment- the pictures are very blurry, try holding the camera still that may fit the problem.
looks good f-16crew.is that the agressor sdq colors[:D][:D]
Looks very nice. Too bad the pictures aren’t clearer to really give your build the justice it deserves.
Mark
That , I think is a very nice model. You seem to be a very talented model builder, but Dude… you need a camera.
Jerry
what kind of camera should i ger that i can take up close pics with out being blurry?
So far it looks nice. if you squint at it, the pictures get clearer! [;)]
No seriously, ,try using a tri-pod to hold your camera. I used to have blurry pics too until I was given that tip. It works like a charm (also check your macro settings!)
Must be nice working so closly with your subject, you get to know excatly what is good and bad with certain kits and how to fix them. Can’t wait to see the finished pics![8D]
A digital with macro capabilities would be ideal, but can get pricey. Most of the newer digitals have a close up feature(little flower icon) that will give you decent close up and focused pics. Also, get and use a tripod.
Jerry
Great progress, what scale is it? It looks huge!!
The detail shos are pretty blurry, but from what I can see, looks like some good work.

Nice job adding all the detail. It’s little things like that, that really set the kit apart.
Nice job on the pit from what I can see.
Chris
Are you using a camera phone? Otherwise perhaps you could stand further back and then zoom in. I’ve done that at times too even though I do have the “up close” feature on my digital camera. Check for sales and zero per cent financing at Best Buy et al. That’s the only way I buy things these days. Otherwise you Falcon looks great! Even blury it still looks better than my last attempt at the F-16. LOL!
Eric
Your F-16 looks great and the detail is really good, a little imagination is necessary with the out of focus pictures.
I have a digital camera with a maximum resolution of 3.4 megapixel, but I shoot nearly all of my model pictures at the minimum resolution setting or maybe one step above it. That max setting would give a 9.5 megabyte picture which would take forever to transmit over the internet, (for anyone still using a 56k modem, like me).
You need a digital camera with macro (close up) capability. Your photos look to be out of focus, not blurred from excess motion. If you shoot in natural light instead of using a strobe, then the shutter speed is going to be real slow and use of a tripod is mandatory. As long as the shutter speed is 1/30 of a second or quicker, hand held photos should be OK. Check the owners manual of your current camera and see if it will let you set up for close in photos, ie, less that 2 feet. Macro should get you in to about 4-6 inches (or less) and still be able to get a good focus.

if you don’t have macro, just stand back and then crop the picture with software to get rid off excess background. If your camera is at least 2Mb, should be plenty to get good clear shots. I’m sure your camera currently is giving you some sort of warning already that its autofocus system can’t get a lock 'cause you are too close.
looks like a great build so far!
try holding the camera still or putting it on a tripod
Wow nice build, the camo is trippy
