Here are some pics of my collection so far. I am making shelves in a closet to store my unbuilt kits. There are 50 in these three pics. I have 7 more large totes full of kits. Just waiting to build the shelves to get them out of the totes.

cool![8D]
THere’s a lot of nice plastic in there waiting to be assembled! If you’re like me, there’s not enough time in a day to complete those!
So many kits, So little time…[:(].
Regards, Rick
Bust out the glue, and let’s get cracking
Jerry
I agree with Dradonfly, It’s always nice to have kits on the shelf, but the fun is building them. Send pics of some finished ones.

Well time is of a major issue right now. I have three kids playing sports, plus work and other activities take alot of the time away. This weekend I am going to try to get one of the builds I am working on right now finished as much as possible.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
Half treadhead, half wingy-thingy. I guess we’ll take what we can get. [:D][;)]
Nice collection, break out the glue and paint and throw some of it at those boxes.

Here’s a shot of the undergrund kit bunker deep inside the Usher Modeling Complex:

YES, it’s completely out of control, but when you can use the “It’s for my JOB, honey!” excuse with your significant other, this is what can happen.

WOW I thought I had a lot of kits. Think I will show that to my fiancee.[:D][:D]
Heyyyy,What’s that pinball machine doing in there?
Jerry
oh my goodness, i am speechless…
Good eye, Jerry! You have to be of a certain age to even recognize what that is!
Pinball’s my other hobby – I buy used-up/basket-case machines and restore them.
If you look closely at the right edge of the picture, you can just see the never-been-used largely ignored NordicTrac machine. (The pinball gets a LOT more use, although both machines lead to plenty of swearing by their user.) The washer and dryer are down there, too, so the place has a hobby shop/laundromat vibe to it…

Not free samples Matthew [(-D][(-D][(-D]
A few kits in my collection were samples sent to the magazine, but most of the kits I bring home from FSM get built right away. Most of the unbuilt pile is the result of going to the hobby shop 1-2 times a week for 25+ years, and having no self control.
As an aside, a lot of the samples that come to FSM get built for Workbench Reviews, as you know. Most of the others are donated to an auction that supports our local IPMS chapter, and some get donated to youth organizations (scouts, boys and girls club, toys for tots, etc.)
Matt @ FSM
Guys, I don’t see hobby shops that are as stocked as some of you are.
WOW!
Wow, wow, wow!!!
Can you imagine if we actually built all the models in our collections? Where would we put them all?
Neil
I am also half treadhead half wingythingy(er). I love the kits you got. The Mig-29 iljyushin and the T-80 especially.
Ah, he even has a full-size model of the briefcase bomb that they used to try to kill Hitler.
