Some of you requested more pics of my M18 Hellcat so here ya go. I have also included some photos of my dozer equipped Sherman.

NIce work on both, Modelbuilder. Is that the AFV club M-18?
No, that is the Academy M18 with a Verlinden update/photoetch set and Jordi Rubio barrel.
Both very nice builds, although I think you need to dirty up that Hellcat a bit!!
Those are better pics Modelbuilder. Yeah, which Hellcat is that? Nice btw.
Thanks for the extra pics of the M18 Modelbuilder, they are great. The Sherman-dozer looks great too. Both are model subjects that are not done all too often.
Nice builds on both kits. They look like they are a little to clean. Thanks for sharing the pics.
modelbuilder,
Very nice work. I espescially like the way you detail paint your tools.
I’d have to agree with the others in the opinion that the Hellcat needs a bit (lot [%-)][swg]) of weathering. You know. Mud, grime, slim, grease, dust, dirt, well, you get the picture.
Thanks for sharing
Joe
I would have to agree with you all. The Hellcat does need some weathering. It was done before I had become comfortable with weathering and “distressing” my armor kits. Also I used the Academy kit with the addition of a Jordi Rubio barrel and Verlinden detail/photoetch set to model the Hellcat. I have been pondering buying the AFV Club kit and building it.
modelbuilder,
So, does this mean we’ll see some follow up pictures of the M-18[?][?] Hope so.
Joe
Maybe Joe. Does anyone know where I can find a crew for my M18?
looks great modelbuilder, nice pics of both builds
Very nice work.
Good looking builds Modelbuilder! I know your feelings when you are reluctent to dirty up a nice build. I’ve got a ton I’ve built that could use some dirtying up, but until I feel more secure about washing, and weathering, they, just be sitting there waiting for me. Thanks for sharing with us. Semper Fi, mike

I am not as reluctant anymore about weathering. I discovered a set of paints from Floquil that replicate dirt, mud, dust, and grime pretty darn close. I have also been experimenting with ground up pastel chaulk. However I am just not in the habit of rehashing a model once I have finished it. I will probably build another M18, perhaps I will use the AFV club kit.
.
Great job!
Good job, thanx for sharing.
Modelbuilder, you did a good job on this Hellcat. The only thing I could see that you might want to do is use a series of washes to bring out more detail.Like a ft.brown wash for your wood handles and boxes to bring out the wood grain. The others have covered the the other stuff on weathering and I don’t blame you for not redoing it all over again.Your build as is,is great and you should be proud of your fine work.I know that this will make a fine addition to your collection,Digger.
[:D] great job on both of your builds,i like the sherm with the dozer blade.i think you need a bit of wethering on both of then, but great builds.[:D]
