dont forget to mask because you want the surrounding area and framing to remain flat.
here it is, after 2 coats of future on the outside, applied with a q-tip very carefully. the canopy still isnt anywhere near what id like it to be cos the inside is very fuzzy too, but its a marked improvement, thanks everyone for their help 
Much better. Out of curriosity why did you use a q-tip instead of airbrishing it? I think you might have got better results building up layers with an airbrush.

well firstly i used a Q-tip cos i didnt feel like masking the whole area off. secondly i dont really feel that for small areas airbrushing future is that big an advantage over brushpainting (or Qtipping) it on. the reason why the canopy still looks so fuzzy is cos the inside is scratched very badly, i sealed up the canopy before i learnt about future.

Im glad it improved it some though. Maybe at a later date pop the canopy off and dip the whole thing in future? Ive seen the stuff fill in small scratches and make em disappear. That might be more trouble than its worth though… That really is a first rate build you got there, even with the canopy problems.
nah, i got a better plan awood, im going to get a FB Mk. something or other and build another. those tamiya kits are sweet.
