Pics of an old one....

I did this a few years ago, and am finally hooked up with a camera, a little bit of knowledge, and a photobucket acct!

Titled “Lost Boys”, I can’t even remember the unit markings, if any, but it’s pretty self-explanatory. The Jumbo is OOB Tamiya, with a little bit of gizmology inside the turret, and the M4A3 76 is Tamiya nad Italeri, with (I think) an old Azimut sandbag set. Been too long ago, can’t remember. Figs are Tamiya and Italeri.

Thanks for looking, comments welcomed.

You’ve told your story well and your basic construction, painting and compostion look pretty good. Nice groundwork, too. Most of the stowage looks to be pproperly secured.

As you continue in dioramas, consider buying some aftermarket hands. Some of your figs have hands that look awkward because they were molded to hold something. (We’ve all been there.) You may want to do some more Frankenstein work, with cutting and repositioning arms and legs.

Thank you. Figs are my weak point, for sure. I do realize, however, that the figs really make the scene.I’m going to post another one that the diorama composition itself is not so great but the figs are a little better.

[#ditto][tup][#toast]is that a purchased building or totally scratch?

Answered in other post, but it’s a kit bash with scratch additions. Forgot, windows are “1 to1” mesh with white glue panes.

very nice RBaer, love the Sherman. Figures are my weak point also, but as they say practice makes perfect.

Now i’m going to look at your other oldie.

Awesome groundwork, in this and the other dio post. In both, there is a lot of attention to detail. Very excited to see what you’ve been doing lately. In the meantime, keep pics of the older ones coming [:D]

Steve

Thanks for the most kind comments. These two are the only dio’s I’ve saved as intact pieces of work.
