And here is a completely unrelated T-34 I am working on:
Some of you may remember me whinging on about Russian green and dented fuel tanks(and Muppets, strangely) a while ago; well this is what I came up with.
Thanks a lot guys. It feels really good to be coming to the end of some builds; I can see ways to improve in the future, but I am proud of them nonetheless.
The T-34 fuel drums are the kit parts, sanded of detail, attacked with a motor tool, sanded smooth and detailed with styrene and sprue. I thought quite hard about AM parts, as I posted, but I enjoyed this way a lot more, saved some dough, and know that they are 'mine"! I am in the process of painting the figures for the T-34, which I have put a lot of work into modifying to show a certain scene. I also need to put tow cables and spare tracks on there, and put some mud over some bad indy link planning![:I] Live and learn, huh?
Dio planned for the 223, too. I am 6 behind Dwight, and falling.[:P]
That is some great stuff Matt really nice whitewash too, I gotta shoot the top of my Yak 1 whitewash for the Accurate GB and I am not looking forward to it at all.
Yes, but mere mortals should not judge themselves against Dwight, or they may go mad and eat their own arms. Dwight goes to bed at night and when he wakes up in the morning there is a completed, painted and weathered 1/35th scale kit next to his bed, which he constructed while he sleeps.
Definitely send me your towed gun pics, Matt, as I suggested in the Dioramas thread you posted.
