Here is my latest work. Italeri’s DUKW. Scratch-built the engine and compartment, wheel pants, and added a transfer case and wires and tubing under the intake grate.

Nice looking duck! That engine is great! Plenty of room in that engine compartment, you could put a few stowaways in there and nobody would know.

Thanks for the comments. I plan to put it on a base with the two mechanics from the Tamiya M26 Recovery Vehicle set and some tools and other small items around it.

Alright?? I had viewed this post earlier and got the dreaded “X”, but all is well now. Gino, the engine build is just great. The planning that goes into scratchbuilding is just got to be mind boggling! I’m just not equipped talentwise or emotionly to produce that kind of quality, but I sure envy anyone who can achieve the kind of results you get. my compliments, and look forward to seeing more of this project and your other builds. semper fi, mike
