Photo References for the Sd.Kfz.181 Panzerkampfwagen VI(P)??

I’m planning on building Dragon’s 1/35 Sd.Kfz.181 Panzerkampfwagen VI(P)
soon…apparently recently discovered photographs have revealed that the right rear pistol port on the turret on the #003 tank (the only example to actually see any combat action) was replaced with an escape hatch. Does anyone out there know any links to such photograph(s)?? I would love to see these newly uncovered pictures. This would not be of the other prototype models of the tank (which did have two pistol ports on the turret), but of the 003 tank which saw battle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The Dragon kit (as well as the earlier Italeri kit) both have two pistol ports and no escape hatch, based on the best research available at the time of release. Thanks!

theres no picture of the escape hatch but these are of the 003

Excellent photos, thank you–a great site! I sure wish I could speak Polish and read Cryllic. I wonder why photos of the right rear of the vehicle are so hard to find. Must be one of those German tanker superstitions… [:D]

I’ve seen some good photos on websites out there of the Tiger P, but never quite the right one. Even the paperback Jentz book doesn’t have the view of the 003. I really don’t want to have to buy an expensive book to find what I’m looking for.

That is Russian, not Polish.

I guess the “.ru” in the website should have been a giveaway…

i’ll have a look for it

Thank you Captain Caveman–that would be extremely cool. Thanks for making the effort! [:D]
