[sigh] I just purchused a 1:35 Hobby craft M1A1 “Bagdad liberator” iraqi freedom tank. i was looking to up-grade and use some PE parts or resin. Anyone know where to get some? i looked at squardron and they had nothing for this kit. Is there a similar kit’s Pe part i can use thatt will fit this one? Help???[:D]
This is actually Trumpeter’s kit, but boxed in a Hobbycraft box, do a search for Trumpeter M1kits. A word of caution, the Army M1 is actually a Marine Abrams, while the Marine Abrams is actually an Army M1A2. When you look at the smoke dischargers, you will see the error. If you want to replace the tracks ( I recommend you do it), buy the AFV Club M1 indy link tracks. IIRC, Barrel Depot and Modelpoint both make barrels for the Abrams, although you may have to do some work to get them to fit the Trumpeter parts. HTH.
