This is my latest and hopefully my best effort at a 1/72 Phantom. It depicts an F-4C of the 191st Fighter Interceptor Group, Selfridge ANGB, Michigan, during a William Tell competition at Tyndall AFB, FL… This is the Hasegawa kit painted with Model Master enamels and using Bare Metal Foil Decals with a PE crew ladder.
Very nice build. A very close freind of mine flew with the 191st. He got me out to Selfridge several times & I got to climb in one of the birds. Never could talk my way into an actual flight in an F-4, but I did get a ride in the backseat of a hack T-33 the Squadron had sitting around. Thanks for sharing.
Regards, Rick
