Thanks ,Rick ,Dave ,Steve-O ,Akuma ,pareng shrikes ,Mike ,FreedomEagle1953 ,AJACKETSFAN ,gunney ,TAG_LK,
fightnjoe and saltydog.
Rick ,the decals took 3 days ,total number of decals were about 125 ,however hasegawa bunched the sencils up together in big pieces.Only the black and white were painted on and the red bit at the tip of the tail fin.
Akuma , the sun is a decal.Tha fuselage decals come in three pieces.
I set aside a whole afternoon to do that properly. No setting solutions were used
Everything Had to be aligned and dried. Then I went back to check for silvering and then only used setting solution.
Pareng shrikes ,I was intimidated by the kit ,I knew the decals would be murder ,It was only after seeing another modeler having one and then offered another chance to buy one did I grit my teeth and get it.This is actually Haswgawa’s second release of this kit in 1/72.The first had an overwelming response.
woodbeck3 ,Allan Quartermain is a modeller too ,remember when he is teaching Tom Sawyer to shoot? He says (Sean Connery accent)“Take your time,Take your time”
joe ,thanks again ,this build took 2 weeks after my exams.
salty ,it was a interesting and different build but its back to camo for me ,old habits die hard.
Thanks again guys ,for all your kind words…here are some new pics and an actual one of the plane.
